Frankfurt Ethereum Meetup

Dear fellow Ethereum-Enthusiasts,

Be part of the first Ethereum Meetup in Frankfurt on 27th April, 19:00 at the House of Finance at Goethe University, Campus Westend.

The meetup will follow these current advancements in the Ethereum ecosystem and give an outlook on this years developments, especially on the business and DApp side.

7:00 - Welcome by brainbot technologies

7:10 - State of the Ethereum Ecosystem - Heiko Hees Ethereum is rapidly adopted for various use cases. The talk will highlight some of the more interesting industry projects and present some notable DApps built on top of the smart contract platform. It will look into Ethereum based token launches as a source of funding for blockchain projects and explain why “synergy” is the most important value proposition of the platform.

7:30 - The Enterprise Ethereum Alliance - Alexander Culum
This March a group of global corporates & blockchain startups founded the EEA. Alex will briefly introduce the initiative and give you an overview over their technical strategy, including the pros and cons for private & public blockchains.

8:00 - Deutsche Börse & Ethereum - Andreas Fletcher
Andreas will talk about Deutsche Börse’s experience with their Ethereum prototypes & lessons learned with blockchain in general.

8:20 - The Raiden Network IoT Demo - Video
The Raiden Network is a highly anticipated blockchain core infrastructure project, with the goal to scale the Ethereum platform capacity to support significant adoption. A five minute video will demo how Raiden could be used in IoT for near real time accounting purposes.

8:30 - The Trustlines Network - Kristoffer Naerland
Kristoffer will explain how blockchains can see major mainstream adoption if the “money model” used is changed. He’ll introduce you to the original Ripple idea and explain how his team builds this “people powered money” idea on top of Ethereum.
