Create Your Own One-of-a-Kind Jewellery from Beeswax ✨

Have you ever wondered what it feels like to create a piece of jewellery with your own hands?

Join me for a two-hour Beeswax Jewellery Workshop in Vienna, held as part of CLOSER — Art to See. Art to Wear. Art to Create., a contemporary jewellery and photography exhibition.

No previous experience or special skills are needed. You don’t need to know how to draw, work with metal or consider yourself particularly “good with your hands.”

For two hours, you can slow down, experiment with beeswax and discover how a simple natural material can gradually become a completely individual jewellery form.

What will you create?

During the workshop, I will introduce you to working with beeswax as a jewellery-making material and guide you through the creative process.

You can experiment with texture, shape and volume and create several wax models — such as a ring, pendant, earrings or your own abstract, organic form.

Every piece develops differently, which is exactly what makes this technique so special.

From beeswax to sterling silver

At the end of the workshop, you can decide whether you would like to have one or more of your wax models transformed into 925 sterling silver jewellery using the lost-wax casting process.

This is completely optional.

If you choose to have your piece cast, I will take care of the next steps: casting and finishing your jewellery by hand until it becomes a ready-to-wear piece.

This workshop is for you if…

• you would love to wear something you designed yourself,
• you have wanted to try jewellery making,
• or you simply want to spend two creative hours working with your hands.

Complete beginners are very welcome.

Part of the CLOSER exhibition

CLOSER — Art to See. Art to Wear. Art to Create. explores what happens when we come closer to art — when we can see it, wear it, touch its materials and even become part of the creative process ourselves.

The exhibition presents contemporary jewellery and objects by Litvin Natasa alongside photography by Tóth Ágnes Réka.

During the Beeswax Jewellery Workshop, you can step out of the role of the viewer and experience what happens when something begins to take shape in your own hands.
