Tech & Wine Tasting

Nagoya.Tech Open Mic night is back at STAR ROBOX! We've invited some experts in embedded systems, robotics, and business development to speak -- more details on that later. Thanks again to the team at STAR ROBOX for inviting us back!

CAPACITY: 50 PEOPLE

We're going to move the restaurant tables into the robotics warehouse to cram more bodies in this time, but please note that space is limited. First come first serve, so please arrive on time. It's going to be super casual and super fun! Come as you are.

Note that this is a SATURDAY event instead of our usual Friday. Access is easy by Horita Station, just a few blocks from the BROTHER Museum (which is cool and also worth checking out, especially the upstairs!)
You're also welcome to bring your laptop and show off what you're working on, or just enjoy a cup of bottomless wine curated by our resident wine techie, Nicholas.

SYSTEM & FEES

The event is free, you can come and listen and talk at no cost. If you're interested in Wine Tasting, there is an optional 2-Hour Nomihoudai for 3000 YEN*. There will also a-la-carte draft beer and other things for purchase at the bar. (*Subject to last minute changes, we will keep this updated.) There may be food available for purchase, and also a kombini very nearby.

OPEN MIC RULES

If you're bringing a powerpoint, please keep it under 12 slides and under 10 minutes, relevant to either business or tech. Personal stories from the trenches always appreciated, it doesn't have to be fancy. Presentations in Japanese or English are always welcome.

Please do not bring videos longer than 1 minute, we will not play commercials! Put a QR code to your video in your deck instead.
