Hiring Product Talent for The future of work places

We're excited to begin another wonderful year of meet-ups with our first meetup, led by Concillier Kitungulu; she will be sharing with us her experience with productization when hiring product talent to work for the future-of-work-places. This meet-up is great for anyone working or seeking to work in the product and engineering team spaces as well as technical recruitment.

Concillier or Coco as she is better known, has spent a significant portion of her career working in Product focused roles in the clean energy sector in Kenya and Rwanda. She then moved to the Nordics where she completed her Master's degree in Information Systems in Sweden and currently works with Pleo - Danish startup of the year as a Technical Recruiter focused on the expansion of product teams.

Working at a company that seeks to define the future of work has shaped her overall hiring and organization strategy approach to ensure the product team grows fast enough, sensibly, diversely and effectively while maintaining, or even further enhancing the team’s culture. She strongly believes that Kenyan talent can thrive in the international market and that more workplaces can build better, healthier spaces through delegation, trust, and listening to employees. Hiring for the product team has given her insight into how different companies view products and what they look for when it comes to building their teams.

Apart from work, she’s always open to talk to you about wine, dancing, and traveling.
