About us
This group has been created to help mothers to get out there and find like-minded moms of children ages 0-5 years old. We are open to working moms, stay-at-home moms and aspiring entrepreneurs (mom-trepreneurs). Single, coupled/married and widowed moms are very welcome.
Ideal for moms living in the Westlands areas, e.g. Gigiri, Kiamu road estates, Runda etc but open to those outside the area too.
My aim is to organise different intimate events where moms can meet-up, get to know each other, have fun, learn from each other, support each other or just be heard. Some events will be open for children to attend whereas others will be mom-only events, because moms deserve a break sometimes!
Some examples of future events I'd like to plan:
- Karura forest mom + child walk.
- Indoor play/soft play date.
- Stay and play, sing-a-long play date.
- Moms paint & sip (child-free)
- Moms give back - orphanage trip (Child-free)
- Child first aid session
- Moms give back - organising food packages for struggling families.
- Moms brunch
- Virtual affirmation group session
So whether you just want to meet new people, want to help your child to socialise and or feel anxious going out with your baby/toddler, feel free to join our group. Come and enjoy motherhood together. There's no pressure and no judgement in this group.
