**Notice** <br>This Meet Up is under new management.
We all received notice that the previous administrator withdrew from the position and a new site leader was needed. Nobody stepped up so a few clicks and a credit card payment later, here we are.
I have a different vision for the Meet Up. The previous version was based on The Mankind Group's work, a program in which I have participated. I agree there is great value in the work. But for me, it stopped short.
None of us are trained mental health or relationship experts. While the previous work follows a clinical path, I find I grow most when I'm in the company of supportive male friends. Buds. Bros. The kind of friends who know everything about you and like you anyway. The kind of take a bullet for you brothers who can sit next to each other in bare skin to have a brutally honest talk with no filter.
The best part of The Work for me was the naked circle. Let's explore that in this new design. Afterall, if the previous method worked, wouldn't one of the 300+ members stepped up to keep that?
I realize sitting in a naked circle and talking about any and everything isn't for every guy. In fact, it's probably not for most and group membership will fall. But for those who think there might be something to this idea, let's give it a shot. In addition to naked circles, I see guy's guy outings. Sporting events. Happy hour. Road trips.
