We are thrilled to invite you to one of the fringe events of the first expressive & therapeutic writing festival in Barcelona [November, 8-10th].
This gathering is for everyone, whether you are attending the festival or not. Do not hesitate to invite your friends or come and make some new ones!

BOOKWORM'S TOUR: BARCELONA & HER WRITERS

If you enjoy writing, you probably love reading, too :) Enjoy an insightful walk with the best literary guide in Barcelona after 2 days of intense journaling!

Throughout history, Barcelona has attracted many writers from around the world, as well as having its share of local talent. Walk in their shoes over the course of a two hour walking tour seeing some of the haunts of both the writers and their characters.

We invite you to join us on a walking tour to discover the Barcelona that writers such as George Orwell, Martha Gellhorn and Ernest Hemingway visited. The route will also include the experiences of lesser-known writers such as Muriel Rukeyser and the Barcelona of locals such as Carlos Ruiz Zafón, Manuel Vázquez Montalbán and Mercè Rodoreda. We will stop in some of the writers’ favourite squares in the Gothic Quarter, as well as experiencing the ever-evolving La Rambla from the local hub to the chaos of the Civil War and its current iteration as a tourist landmark.

Our guide Tadhg has been exploring the literary and cultural side of local life in Barcelona for the past decade and is always keen to learn and share more about the Catalan city.

The entry fee will include a couple of literary-themed goodies for each participant.
