🌸 GIRLS WHO WRITE BOOKS

Hey fellow writer (or a writer to be!)
If you’ve been craving a creative home, a place to show up as a writer and a gentle circle that keeps you moving toward your book, this community is for you.

Girls Who Write Books is a cosy, grounded membership space for women writing:

✨ non-fiction
✨ memoir
✨ autofiction
✨ self-help / wisdom books
✨ creative essays

*fiction writers are absolutely welcome too — we’re story-driven in every format

It’s a space to stay connected to your book, your voice, and your creative identity — especially through the winter, the best time to cave in, look inward and focus on deep work.

What’s Inside the Membership
December → May

📚 Monthly Live Call (75–90 min)

A mix of:

– creative coaching
– teaching on craft + structure
– themed writing exploration
– mini–hot seats
– space to read if you want to

These calls are equal parts grounding, energising, and nourishing.
You leave feeling like a writer again.

📚 The Creative Gym (light, doable, joyful)

A weekly prompt or micro-challenge to keep your creative muscles engaged. Some weeks it’s a structural task, other weeks a page from your book, a reflection, or a craft experiment.
This is how you build consistency without pressure.

📚 Accountability That Feels Like "OMG I've finally found MY people!"

Tiny check-ins so you don’t disappear from your own writing. Gentle nudges. Honest shares. Celebration of wins big + tiny.
A soft structure that keeps your book-writing fire burning.

📚 Community Space (no special platform needed - it's all on Telegram app, private channel)

Not noisy. Not overwhelming. Just a small group of women who are actually working on real books and want company as they do it.

You get:
– support
– encouragement
– sneak peeks
– honest conversations about doubt, resistance, voice, and momentum
It’s the opposite of writing alone in a vacuum.

📚 Seasonal Momentum

We’ll move through the winter and spring together with intention:

December: setting the creative field
Jan–Feb: deep focus, craft, and consistency
Mar–Apr: shaping the manuscript
May: preparing for what comes next (more chapters to write, editing, agents, self-publishing, sharing)

You will FEEL the arc of your own progress!

✨ What You’ll Get After 6 Months

By May, you’ll likely have:

✓ a solid chunk of your manuscript
✓ a stronger relationship with your writer identity
✓ clarity on your book’s direction
✓ braver, clearer writing
✓ a circle of women who cheer you on
✓ an inner confidence that you *can* finish
✓ a creative rhythm that feels sustainable

This membership is not about pressure or productivity — it’s about staying connected to your book and not losing yourself in the process.

If all of the above feels right, I'd love you to join us in December!
You don't have to live in Barcelona if you want to write with us.

📖 💛 📖 Membership fee:
€65/month (minimum 3 months commitment – first of all, to YOUR writing process)
Special December Offer:
If you join in December → €55/month for your entire membership

ABOUT THE ORGANIZER:

Hey there. I’m Marusha, founder of Girls Who Write. And yes, I’m that kind of girl myself, too!

Words have been my job all my life, but also my true passion. For years I’ve been working as a lifestyle & travel editor for Harper’s Bazaar, Grazia, and Aeroflot magazines, then switched to teaching storytelling and non-fiction writing. In 2022 I published my first book Not Just A Mom, my own manifesto and dedication to all creative women out there, who have mastered the art of juggling since becoming parents. After that, I realized how empowering a female community can be and how much we girls need our own tribe. This is when the idea of GWW was born.

I have also combined the wanderlust running through my veins, my experience as a travel editor, and my passion for writing to launch GIRLS WHO WRITE retreats. If you’re a words-lover like me, these transformational, creativity-boosting adventures are what you’ve been looking for!

I created the Girls Who Write community to support and include in the creative circle all the women who love words. It doesn’t matter if you’re an amateur novelist, seasoned journalist, screenplay writer, journaling fan, or a pure beginner in writing. Come join us – and never write alone again!
