Please join us for calm-abiding (shamatha) meditation on Tuesday evenings near Dupont Circle from 6:30 - 7:30 pm.
All are welcome - those with experience and newcomers.
Periods of sitting meditation will alternate with walking meditation. This is an open format so come for all or a part of the session, according to your schedule. “Shamatha” means calm abiding or tranquility meditation. It is one of the most profound, time-tested techniques we have for working with our minds in order to gain greater clarity, balance, and relaxation.
