Discusssion, Art and Learning Event on HOMELESSNESS (AKA "Streets Ahead")

Details
At this event we will be discussing, exploring and collaborating on the topic of GENDER EQUALITY. It is open to everyone - all we ask is that your mind is open too.
• This event is pat of a the new group SPOTLIGHTS - This group is for people who are interested in current issues and want to do something about them - everyone can play a part. Join SPOTLIGHTS here (https://www.meetup.com/SPOTLIGHTS/)
This is just one of the events that will be focussing on this topic. As it progresses, we will take things in different directions, so keep checking back for the next event - we will be doing something a bit different each time!
Over the next weeks and months we will create something useful, informative, beautiful and inspiring - and eveyone can contribute to this.
These is how we do it...
DISCUSSION: Sharing opinions and perspectives - and coming up with creative ideas.
ART & IMAGES: Finding artists and artwork that illustrate the topic and show different perspectives...
...including fine art, street art, satire, cartoons, memes, conceptual art, infographics, activist art and photography.
RESEARCH: Reading, searching and sharing articles...Finding evidence, numbers, videos, interviews, jokes and quotes.
COLLABORATION: Searching for other groups, organisations and inspirational people - contacting them and finding ways to work together
• You can arrive at any time. The event may continue after 9pm, at which point we may move to a pub or bar for something more casual :)
• This kind of event will work best with a small and enthusiastic group of 4 to 10 people. If you RSVP and decide that you can't make it, please vacate your place so someone else can!
• If you have any questions, please contact myself Nathan T, or leave a message for the group. I hope to see you there!
