Details
November's topic: The Long-Lasting Effects of Marijuana featuring special guest speaker Dr. Elizabeth L. Stuyt, MD!
About this month's presentation:
On Wednesday, November 10, 2021, from 7-8:15 pm via Zoom, NAMI Jeffco will host Dr. Libby Stuyt, an Addiction Psychiatrist with over 36 years of experience. She is motivated to educate as many people as possible about the downside of our high potency THC marijuana, especially in adolescents. Although she is not a prohibitionist, she used to think there was no real difference between alcohol and marijuana, but her thinking has changed. Her presentation will address the long-lasting effects of marijuana, especially on adolescents and people diagnosed with mental health issues.
