Sibling and Adult Child Mental Health Support Group
Details
This is a mental health support group for siblings or adult children of individuals with mental illness.
Groups are non-clinical and are led by two people who have a sibling or parent living with mental illness.
At the beginning of the group, NAMI guidelines and principles are shared, which is followed by a check in. Participants are invited to introduce themselves and speak a bit about how they are doing in the present moment. This is followed by an opportunity to give support, get support, share what has worked for you and what has not.
Closed Captioning is available.
Our support and social groups are offered completely free of charge. If you'd like to support us in continuing this important work, please donate here: https://bit.ly/43J0Qsk
