What we’re about
NAMI Northern Virginia Connection Recovery Support Groups provide an opportunity for adults living with a mental health condition to connect while sharing understanding and support in a confidential group setting.
Connection (Peer) Support groups are facilitated by two NAMI-trained facilitators who are experienced at living well with a mental health condition.
Connection groups are open to all adults (age 18+) living with a mental health condition, regardless of diagnosis.
Individuals interested in participating are encouraged to contact the group facilitator before attending a group for the first time to confirm the meeting location and time.
National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Northern Virginia is a non-profit organization providing education, support, and advocacy to individuals and families affected by mental health conditions in the Northern Virginia Community.
