Let's RALLY in Nampa- No Kings Day

Details
### “No Kings Day” Rally to Take Place in Nampa on June 14
– On Saturday, June 14, residents of Nampa and surrounding communities will gather on the steps of Nampa City Hall (411 3rd St S, Nampa, ID 83651) from 5:30 to 7:30 PM Mountain Time as part of a sweeping national day of action known as “No Kings Day.”
Over 1,500 events are planned across the country to stand against authoritarianism, political violence, and the erosion of democratic institutions—specifically in response to increasing authoritarian behavior by Donald Trump and his allies. Participants in Nampa will join millions of Americans to assert: no thrones, no crowns, no kings.
This is about defending the core values of democracy: free speech, equal justice, and government by the people—not by billionaires or strongmen. We want to be clear that the flag doesn’t belong to one man—it belongs to all of us.
Organizers cite crackdowns on dissent, detainment of protestors, threats to deport citizens, defunding climate science, and disregard for the courts as signs of a troubling shift away from democratic norms. The “No Kings” movement aims to counter this with mass mobilization, community solidarity, and peaceful protest.
