Pop-Up Summer Song Circle In the Park with Sylvia and April

Sing outdoors with Sylvia in Nanaimo’s Bowen Park on Tuesday, August 26: Let your voice rise and weave with community in an evening of experiential group singing aimed at interconnectivity and vocal harmony. With special guest April Laurie. All voices are welcome!

Joyful, uplifting songs with layers and harmonies taught by ear, and room for creativity and movement. No experience necessary - this is community singing!

Please bring your own water to stay hydrated. Feel free to bring your own chair if you need to sit.

Joined by songleader / vocal improviser and percussionist April Laurie who will lead a circle song and add some funky rhythms!
Sylvia is the founder of Humble Harmony, a non-performing, fun community singing group, and proud member of the Ubuntu Choirs Network, which believes that singing is a universal human birthright.
