Moorecroft Park to Enos Lake, memorial bench & David's Lookout loop

Planned route is approx 12km/375m accumulated elevation gain @ "a notch above" moderate pace.
You s/b at minimum a strong B level hiker or higher to enjoy hike @ this pace. Not suited to anyone with balance/knee/mobility/cardio deficiencies.
Pet-free hike/NO DOGS please. Pit toilet near parking lot.
Brief stop for snack break @ bench.

REMINDER: be prepared to show some of the Ten Essentials/First Aid supplies that you personally have in your pack.

Details: from Moorecroft Park parking lot head down to Vesper Point and then toward Enos Lake.
NOTE: 6-7 minutes walking along Stewart Rd before heading back onto forested trails. Pass by Enos Lake, up to memorial bench looking over Nanoose Harbour, up to David's Lookout looking over Salish Sea, then loop back to Moorecroft Park.
Mix of shaded trails and sunny sections.

Expect dry & slippery conditions (trails may be littered with dry/slippery Arbutus leaves) with varied and unstable terrain (stones, roots & some blowdown). Hiking boots/shoes with good tread required. Poles may be beneficial.
