Slow as Cold Molasses Mt. Benson Hike

Details
So are you are the type of person who likes to stop often to smell the flowers, perhaps just observe the trees or to gaze intently at the the mud on your boots in order to take a breath or two. Maybe you like to talk to people real or imaginary going up or coming down from a climb as an opportunity to give yourself a break. If you do like to take breaks from climbing early and often, or you feel you have the strength but not the speed, then you might want to consider this slow hike up Benson.
So the plan would be to start from Witchcraft Lake area and take at least 3 hours to get to the top, if it takes a little more then so be it, just bring some determination and team spirit as this will be a team event. Once we are at the top we will rest for about an hour or there abouts (you will have earned it) to eat, enjoy the view, take a nap or perhaps scrap with the Whiskey Jacks if you desire before we take another 2-3 hours to make our way down
For those not familiar with Mt. Benson; the hike is about 7kms in total with about 700 meter elevation gain. It is steep and rocky in places and I wouldn't recommend it for complete beginners or novices or if you have knee issues as this hike could prove problematic for you. This hike will be weather dependent, you don't want rain or heat and also if I win big on the lotto then all bets are off, either way I will let you know.
