2 Westwood Ridges via Kilpatrick, K2 & Tat

An Intermediate" event, not for beginners. You need to be physically fit for this one. About 3 hrs. Anyone with mobility, balance, or cardio deficiencies should avoid this event. Poles recommended.
This hike starts easy along the north west road/path ways of Westwood Lake & lets us warm up.
Then crossing the powerline upward to Kilpatrick trail with moderate & steep slope along side a creek bed toward SE Mt. Benson. Turning steeper uphill then along Westwood Ridge trail to the picnic shelter & memorial site.
We will take a break at the picnic site, then continue to the first west viewpoint ridge for a view of Benson. Then to the east viewpoint (best) overlooking Westwood Lake & city to stop a while.
Next, downward off the first ridge, along the K2 briefly before turning steep upward again along the Pool Lookout trail, toward the "Miners Pool" viewpoint, where we'll stop again to enjoy the 2nd (lesser) view of Westwood Lake.
Lastly downward along the K2 & Tat to circle the south end of Westwood Lake & back to parking.
Wash/change rooms at start & finish (thank the city).

We'll meet at the beginning of the gravel parking lot, (Not the paved) of Westwood Lake.
No dogs please.
