Witchcraft Lake to Ammonite Falls - tomorrow, Friday

Level: Moderate to intermediate
No pets
Start point: Mt Benson parking lot
Distance: 14 km return
Elevation gain: 350 meters
Washroom available at the beginning of the hike

This will be at a moderate-intermediate pace, stopping occasionally for a rest/water/views/etc. This trail has many switchbacks. Once at the falls, we will hang our for a few minutes and do the same return hike.

Suggest you bring your own tracking device in case you have to turn around.

Hiking poles are strongly advised. It is steep and rocky in places and not recommended for beginners, novices or if you have knee issues. Once at the halfway point, we will take about a 5 minute break, and then return back down.
