Cruickshank Canyon Lookout - Tues Aug 26

Washrooms available at the start, and different locations throughout hike

This is a fairly long intermediate hike to Cruickshank Canyon in Paradise Meadows (Forbidden Plateau) which is at the Nordic area for Mt. Washington. The total hike would be around 22km with some climbs resulting in a great view at the end. We return the same route. The trail is well marked comprising of well groomed bits, boardwalks and then your typical roots and ruts section.

Start time for the hike will be 9am from the Nordic Lodge. Carpooling is always welcomed. It takes about 1 1/2 hrs to drive from Woodgrove Mall.

NOTE: This is not a hard hike, but it is long. Before jumping into this hike, make sure that you are up for 22 km hike. Compare this to going around Westwood Lake trail 3.5 times but with more elevation.

Poles and your own tracking device is suggested.

IMPORTANT: You will automatically go on a waitlist, but will be moved to 'going' once you confirm via email to me that you physically ready to do the 22km hike.

This trip will be weather dependent. If Saturday's weather don't work, I'll automatically change it to Sunday.
