Creeper Trail & Extension Ridge - Tomorrow, Sunday 9am

The Creeper skirts along the inland/valley side side of Extension Ridge. A geologically interesting route with plenty of caves, huge boulders, & old coal mines. We will take short stops along the route to enjoy the scenery. The hike goes to the abyss and then returns 'almost' the same way.

Elevation gain of around 250 meters

Drive along Virotsko Rd, past the last beige house on the right. You will then be on a dirt road. Keep going about 100 to 200 meters. Parking is on both sides of the road.

This route requires a moderate fitness level. Ability to maintain a moderate pace is essential. Those with any mobility, cardio deficiencies should avoid this event. Poles are recommended. Suggest you bring your own tracking device if you have to turn around.
