What we'll do:
This is a 16 km trip with about a 1000 meter elevation gain. We will be starting from Cameron Lake and the first 600 or so meters we will cover in the first 2hrs by climbing a series of switchbacks. The majority of the hike is nicely forested with a fairly good lookout spot overlooking the strait depending on cloud cover of course. Approximately 6-8 hours for the hike. You can read more about the history of the trail and for more detailed information on line if you are interested.

• What to bring
This is a fairly high and lengthy hike which could include some unpredictable weather which would place this in a high intermediate category, so pack accordingly please. Keep in mind the recommended ten essentials when hiking.

• Important to know
Trip is weather dependent of course and you can contact me directly if you have any questions and you might want to consider carpooling.
