Discovery hike: Galloway Gulch/Smith's Trail to Ammonite Falls loop

Disclaimer/discovery hike: I have not hiked into Ammonite Falls from this TH...a short/easy way.
Approx 6-7km<200m accumulated elevation gain...with a loop within the loop. You s/b a strong "B" hiker or higher to enjoy this hike.
Not suited to anyone with balance/knee/mobility/cardio deficiencies.
Pet-free/NO DOGS please. No pit toilet/washrooms.
NOTE: Very limited parking at TH, please carpool. Suggested meeting spot: Nanaimo North Town Center Park & Ride slots near Montana's (at edge of parking lot, closer to the old Sears building). It's then a 10 minute drive to the TH.
As a courtesy to the drivers & group, please ensure you arrive early.
Mainly forested/shaded trails, some access road walking. Note: just a trickle of water @ Ammonite Falls.
REMINDER: be prepared to show some of the First Aid supplies that you carry in your pack. See Ten Essentials link below.
Expect dusty, dry/slippery conditions and unstable terrain (stones, roots & some blowdown). Hiking shoes or boots with good tread required. Poles may be beneficial.
