Beastars (18)

Host Shaun will be running a 3 hour soft lecture with many clips on the Netflix anime series of BEASTARS.

This series hits a very personal note. It also deals with heavy topics. Though it isn't that visually explicit, common themes include cannibalism, assault, abuse, addiction, drug use, sex, prejudice, specism (racism), self-harm, suicide, and mental health.

Though Netflix classes it as a 15, I would personally call it an 18 due to its emotionally affecting subject matter. I will discuss delicately but honestly and directly, instead of ignoring these aspects. Please be in a safe mindset for it when attending.
