About us
I used to run a health activity group many years ago! I loved getting people together to do healthy activities when they normally wouldn’t do it by themselves! The older I get, I find it’s hard to find like minded people to get together to find healthy exercises and sports. I would love to add activities that allow people to choose what they would like to do and be able to take the step to do it. I would even like to see others get a chance to lead activities they would like to do as well! I look forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones as well!

3 Mile Walk Followed by Festival of Color (Holi)
Millennium Carillon, 443 Aurora Avenue, Naperville, IL, USYou are invited to a group outing featuring a 3-mile walk followed by the Festival of Colors (Holi) in Naperville. This event is a celebration of spring and equality, where everyone plays with vibrant colors to symbolize that we are all the same, regardless of skin color.
Schedule & Meeting Location
- Meeting Time: 11:00 AM
- Meeting Spot: The top of Rotary Hill (near the Millennium Carillon).
- Activity: We will proceed on a round-trip 3-mile walk along the Riverwalk followed by the Holi celebration.
Event Details & Recommendations
- Cost: Admission to the festival is free, and color packets are available for purchase on-site.
- Color Safety: The color is a temporary powder made of organic dyed flour. It is recommended to wear a face mask and a head cover (such as a hat or bandana) to avoid breathing in the powder.
- Spectator Advice: If you prefer not to play with the color powder, it is recommended to stay toward the corners of the venue, away from the main crowd.
The 2026 Festival of Colors in Naperville is scheduled for Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Rotary Hill near the Riverwalk. Organized by Simply Vedic, the event features, music, food, and the traditional, joyous throwing of dry, organic colors (strictly no outside colors allowed) to celebrate spring, love, and community.
