Digital Assets Legislation and Policy

Our guest speaker is Jackie Price, a consultant at the Digital Chamber. She has been intimately involved in crafting language and materials to lobby members of Congress to pass legislation and provide clarity for digital assets. Jackie recently returned from Washington, DC where she assisted with the digital chamber annual conference. "We were thrilled with the turnout of almost 800 people as well as eight members of Congress, four US senators, a member of the Fed board of governors, and one of the Commissioners from the SEC." Jackie will bring us up to speed on recently passed legislation and explain the work that still needs to be done to make the US crypto-friendly.

Meeting Details
We spend the first 15 minutes socializing and having snacks. The presentations run from 7:15pm - 8:45pm. In this group we mostly focus on Bitcoin and its monetary and technical properties, we also discuss other blockchains, protocols, and ALL aspects of Web 3. We welcome all questions from Basic to Advanced and pride ourselves on being inclusive no matter where you are on your Web 3 journey.
