The Existential Case for Bitcoin

We will have two guests. Alex Hochberger and Chris Sullivan.

Alex will give a short presentation about his company, Web3 Enabler, which is a Web 2.5 Company bringing Bitcoin and Blockchain to Salesforce CRM. Alex is CEO and Founder, and he originally demoed the product here last summer. They will be crowdfunding this winter.

Chris Sullivan has been in the asset management industry since 2007 with a background in algorithmic portfolio allocations, risk management, equity, futures, market making, and derivatives trading. Mr. Sullivan began his career at Morgan Stanley and has been an entrepreneur since 2010, serving as portfolio manager of a volatility arbitrage fund, prior to co-founding Hyperion Decimus. For HD’s quant-driven multi-strategy digital asset fund, Libertas Fund, Sullivan serves as portfolio manager, designs quantitative algorithms, and leads the investment committee. As first movers in the digital asset space; Libertas Fund was one of the first hedge fund to accept allocations in Bitcoin, as well as one of the first to trade options on Bitcoin.

Chris was a featured speaker at the Bitcoin 2024 conference appearing on the Nakomoto stage just before Former President Trump. He will talk to us about why Bitcoin is essential for the survival of the US and world economy and will answer questions about trading and investing in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

Meeting Details
We spend the first 15 minutes socializing and having snacks. The presentations run from 7:15pm - 8:45pm. In this group we mostly focus on Bitcoin and its monetary and technical properties, we also discuss other blockchains, protocols, and ALL aspects of Web 3. We welcome all questions from Basic to Advanced and pride ourselves on being inclusive no matter where you are on your Web 3 journey.
