Whew! Glad that's over. Okay, this is a bit complex. But, speaking of risk, you must wear, properly, a properly fitted approved life jacket. Otherwise, you can't paddle with me.

You may have noticed another trip of mine at the same time, same day. That's because the group from the PaddlePark will go to the Capri Fish House to pick up anyone that needs to rent a kayak, or who can only paddle a shorter distance and can't handle PaddlePark to Sea Oat, and back. I'm not sure but I think we'll be paddling around 10-12 miles.

We aim to leave the PaddlePark at 8:30 and take a leisurely 1 - 1.5 hour paddle to the Fish House. We might have to hang around there a little while. That group is supposed to be ready to paddle at 10 AM. From there, we'll make an on-the-spot decision which side of Johnson Isalnd to go around on our way to Sea Oat. We'll spend some time in the Gulf of Mexico, if conditions allow.

On Sea Oat, we can shell hunt, bear hunt, bird watch, look at each other, take a swim, have a snack, have a drink, or dig for buried treasure.

After a sufficient time, we'll head back to the Fish House and all of us who choose can stop and have lunch right there at the Fish House, where the food is good and the service is....dependable? If you join this group, please do NOT RSVP or Attend the rental kayak group on FB or Meetup. Just RSVP on this posting to go. That's why the paddle time on this posting is so long. You don't have to stop at the Fish House, and can probably get back well before 2 PM, if you care to do it that way.

The PaddlePark requires a Collier County Beach Parking sticker for your vehicle, or there's a $10 fee for the car. There is also a $5 launch fee, per vessel (tandems just pay $5). You'll have to pay over a smart phone. If it's confusing, just ask someone in the group for help when you're there.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call or text me. I'll be launching from the PaddlePark, so I'll see you there.
