Know Your Limits!!
Looking for a group a strong sea kayakers to join me on a paddle to Whitehorse Key this Saturday morning from the Goodland Bridge. Trip will be anywhere from 12-15 miles round trip and I plan to start launching AT 8:30 so please get there early to get ready. We will most likely travel behind most of the islands on the way out and do some open water paddling on the way back in.
You must be in a sea worthy vessel of Atleast 16’ in length to keep up with the group. Paddlers are also expected to know how to do a successful wet exit and some form of self rescue.
It will be a long day I’m sure, so bring plenty of water, snacks and sun protection.
