Hello Tea Party Patriots…….There is a great event coming up on Thursday, October 27th that you should be aware of.

Robert Levy, Chairman of the Cato Institute and renowned Constitutional scholar, will be the featured speaker at an event co-sponsored by the Naples Tea Party. The last time Mr. Levy spoke to Naples Tea Party members, we had a packed house, while receiving glowing testaments for Bob's ability to explain things in language that is easy to understand. Bob Levy is one of us………you will love him.

Mr. Levy was an adjunct professor of law at Georgetown University. He has written numerous articles on Constitutional law, investments, law, and public policy. His writing has appeared in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Washington Post, National Review, and many other publications.

He has also discussed public policy on national radio and TV programs, including ABC's Nightline, CNN's Crossfire, Fox's The O'Reilly Factor, MSNBC's Hardball, and NBC's Today Show.

His latest book, co-authored with William Mellor, is The Dirty Dozen: How Twelve Supreme Court Cases Radically Expanded Government and Eroded Freedom.

Bob's main topic for discussion will be "How the Courts Have Subverted the Constitution" ……… while discussing a range of issues (depending on time) that could include the Tea Party, the Commerce Clause, rule by administrative agencies, defaults & debt ceilings, health care, the electoral college, birthright citizenship, civil rights laws, public funding of judicial elections, and anti-competitive occupational licensing.

The event will start at 6:45 pm and run till 8:30 pm, Thursday Oct 27th and be held right in the center of Naples: River Park Community Center, 301 11 St North.

Mr. Will Stallings will also speak at this event. He is the regional coordinator for a group promoting an exciting health care compact that has the potential to replace ObamaCare by utilizing the U.S. Constitution instead of relying on the courts and legislation to repeal it.

Bob Harden has graciously agreed to emcee! Bob Levy and Will Stallings will do a great job and are both kind enough to do this gratis. Let’s all take advantage of the opportunity.
The event will be no charge, but we will accept donations to cover the $80 rental fee.

At the end, there will be a voluntary ceremony offered by the Oath Keepers, for all who wish to renew their commitment to our Constitution. This will be a chance for many of us who have sworn an Oath to “protect and Defend” to renew our vows, and those who never have had the opportunity, to do so.
