What we’re about
This group offers FREE support sessions using the CHO Method (Consciously Healing Online)—a unique, trauma-informed approach that helps heal both mind and body. Whether you're recovering from painful relationships or difficult life experiences, the CHO Method provides a guided path to lasting emotional and psychological healing.
Have you experienced confusion, shame, fear, or deep emotional pain caused by narcissistic abuse, scapegoating, parental alienation, or toxic relationships—whether in childhood, family, intimacy, or society? Have you carried the lasting effects of loss, childhood trauma, Complex PTSD, prolonged grief, or other trauma-related symptoms, and found that traditional methods like talk therapy just haven’t helped you truly heal?
Find Healing in the Way That Works Best for You
Healing is a deeply personal journey, and every option in this group is designed to move at your own pace, because true healing cannot be rushed.
- Group Support Meetings: Join our supportive group sessions and explore the Twelve Golden Keys at a rhythm that feels right for you. Others may be working on different keys, but our trauma-informed Peer-Facilitator will always meet you where you are.
- One-on-One Peer Coaching: Receive personalized guidance from a trained Peer-Facilitator in a private setting. This option allows for focused support tailored to your specific needs and experiences. Each session is $30 (typically eight sessions in total), with sliding-scale pricing available. Contact the Organizer or a Co-organizer to discuss details, or click here to schedule a One-on-One Peer Coaching Session. One-on-one Coaching
- Hybrid Option: Combine the depth of one-on-one coaching with the connection of group meetings. This integrated approach is often the most effective and efficient path for transforming trauma-related symptoms, still entirely at your own pace.
Please note that the workbook is required. You can purchase it at the links below or download the workbook when attending meetings, as the Peer-Facilitator will share it at the beginning of each session. The Mind Surgery Workbook can be purchased at Amazon: Mind Surgery Workbook or Barnes & Noble: Mind Surgery Workbook.
The book on which it is based can also be purchased, providing greater detail about how to heal using the Twelve Golden Keys. Amazon: Mind Surgery: Consciously Healing Through Self-Enlightenment or, Barnes & Noble: Mind Surgery: Consciously Healing Through Self-Enlightenment
If you cannot attend an event you RSVP'd for, please remember to un-RSVP. Thank you.
You are not alone, and you are not broken. You're traumatized, and healing trauma-related symptoms and recovering is the goal for each participant.
This group is for anyone tired of suffering from the mental and emotional toll of trauma, especially from painful relationships or past experiences. The deeper your suffering, the more this process can help, because suffering is often what awakens the unconscious mind, where true healing begins.
Using the Consciously Healing Online (CHO) method, we harness the power of the present moment to heal the past.
Please feel free to contact me at CoachStevenThistle@gmail.com if you have any questions or if financial assistance is needed to receive the support and healing you need.
Through cultivating deep self-awareness, this approach transcends mere coping—it leads to genuine transformation. When unconscious wounds are brought into conscious awareness, healing becomes not only possible but inevitable.
This is a deep dive into the root of trauma and the patterns it creates. It works—and I’m living proof.
This group is a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for those healing from narcissistic abuse, emotional manipulation, and toxic power dynamics. Whether your wounds are fresh or decades old, this is a place where you can be seen, heard, and gently guided back to yourself.
This group is for you if:
You grew up in a home where love was unsafe, your emotions were dismissed, and abuse—whether emotional, physical, or otherwise—was part of your reality.
You learned to survive by disconnecting from your feelings, your needs, and even your sense of self.
You’ve been in relationships where you were gaslit, controlled, or devalued.
You’re struggling with self-doubt, people-pleasing, or shame.
You’ve begun to awaken, but still feel stuck, isolated, or misunderstood.
You may have tried therapy, medication, and professional support, but the symptoms persist because the root of the pain still hasn’t been fully reached.
What to expect:
Honest, trauma-informed sharing and conversations
Emotional support from peers who get it
Guided healing based on the 'Consciously Healing Online' method
Opportunities to share or listen, no pressure
A unique blend of practical and unconventional tools that go beyond surface-level relief, offering deep, lasting healing
This is a space of radical empathy, not advice-giving or toxic positivity.
Hosted by: Steven Thistle – Author of Mind Surgery, Consciously Healing Through Self-Enlightenment, survivor, and creator of the Consciously Healing Online method. A method where we use the present moment to heal from the past, consciously.
The ultimate goal of this work is to create a healing movement, not one based merely on venting pain, but on truly healing it at the root.
Using the Consciously Healing Online (CHO) method, we offer practical and unconventional tools specifically designed to address trauma-related mental health conditions and persistent emotional suffering that traditional approaches often cannot resolve.
As the community grows, the vision is for women’s groups to be led by co-organizers who identify as female, helping create safe, empowering spaces for participants, especially given that narcissistic abuse often involves harm from the opposite sex.
Suppose you feel called to support others on their healing journey, regardless of gender. In that case, you’re invited to apply to become a co-organizer and/or receive training as a professional healing coach in the CHO Method. The only requirement is that you complete the eight-week series and experience meaningful healing through the process.
This isn’t just a program—it’s a path forward, and a movement toward real, lasting transformation.
Come as you are. Your voice matters. Your healing is real. And you don’t have to walk this path alone.
💛 About This Group
This group was created purely out of a desire to help others heal from narcissistic abuse, especially those who, like the author, struggled to find real understanding or transformation within the traditional mental health system.
The Consciously Healing Online method was born from lived experience, deep reflection, and a commitment to full recovery of mind and body.
