Welcome to the Free Verse Fugitives! This is a low-pressure space for beginners, creatives, and anyone who wants to play with words. Just bring your thoughts and a willingness to explore.

Today’s focus:
We’re digging into 3 very powerful, yet, still accessible tools:

voice (how your writing sounds like you.)

rhythm (the musical feel of your lines; the pulse of your poem, shaped by line breaks, repetition, and sound devices like alliteration.)

tone (the emotional attitude in your poem.)

We’re keeping it very casual: no pressure, no pretension. Just a space to try things out, play with language, and maybe surprise ourselves.
