NASA Space Apps Challenge Hackathon 2021

Hello makers, designers and enthusiasts! This year marks the tenth annual NASA Space Apps Challenge and we're excited to invite you to join the Pasadena team led by She.Codes team at Pasadena City College.

Everyone is welcome to join and a background in coding or computers is not necessary.

Teams will have access to NASA's free and open data to produce, within a 48-hour period, open source solutions to the challenges we face today on Earth and in space.

The NASA Space Apps Challenge will be VIRTUAL and take place primarily over Discord. However, we encourage you to meet with your team at Pasadena City College to collaborate and work together!

Schedule (still being finalized):
Saturday: Hackathon at Discord will begin at 9 AM

Sunday: Judging and awards will begin at 6PM.

About your Local Lead, She.Codes:
We are She.Codes, a club at Pasadena City College who seeks to bridge the gender gap in STEM with an emphasis on Computer Science and Engineering. We support and encourage our fellow students in engineering, providing a sense of community, work to dismantle the untrue stereotype that engineering is not a career for women and advocate to have all genders more equally represented in the field of technology.
