Handing everyone a license doesn't make them good with the tools. Access isn't proficiency. Drawing on a year of running an internal AI enablement program at a ~150-person Nashville software consultancy, this talk is a candid, first-hand look at the org side of AI adoption: what "proficiency" actually looks like as a team matures, how you get an honest read on where people really are, what moved the needle versus what fell flat, and where human judgment still has to step in.
