I Grew Up Where the Wild Things Were: Building at the AI Frontier
Details
For more than five generations, my family has built things on the frontier — a homestead house moved through a Tennessee holler, a geodesic dome built on the Space Coast of Florida where the wild things were, a 21-acre Kentucky property drawn from raw land, a software career through every wave of disruption, and now, my children watching and learning how to build for themselves. None of us ever waited for a playbook.
This talk extracts repeating patterns visible across every structural frontier, past and present, and applies them directly to how you and your team navigate the AI moment right now. It starts with a story of growing up where the wild things were. It ends with a question the room answers together.
