Global Game Jam 2026

Get ready for the 2026 Global Game Jam hosted by Nashville Game Developers!

Nash Game Dev will host the jam site as a hybrid event with support from Tennessee State University. In-person activities will take place at Tennessee State University Avon Williams Off Campus Instructional Site, while online participation will happen in the NashGameDev Discord server. Participation either in-person or online are both equally valid and anyone is welcome to participate regardless of background, discipline, skills, or interest in game development. If you plan to participate in-person, you must RSVP here. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

Friday January 30, 2026
6:00 PM - Doors open in-person, Pizza
7:00 PM - Opening Ceremony: theme announcement, team formation
11:00 PM - Doors close in-person

Saturday January 31
8:00 AM - Doors open in-person
11:00 PM - Doors close in-person

Sunday February 1
8:00 AM - Doors open
5:00 PM - Closing ceremony and presentations in-person and online

Participants are responsible for their own meals. The venue is located near downtown, in walking distance from some restaurants.

Please do not attend in-person if you have cold or flu-like symptoms.

Parking
Free parking will be available in designated areas on-site for registered attendees in the Avon Williams Campus parking lot located off 10th avenue. Please see the GGJ jam site for details.
