What we’re about
NashSec is citySec meetup of Nashville’s local security meetup — a casual, community-driven gathering for anyone interested in cybersecurity. Whether you’re a seasoned professional, a student breaking into the field, or just security-curious, you’re welcome here.
We’re all about connecting locals who care about security, sharing ideas, and learning from each other in a relaxed environment. New people are always encouraged to join — no suits, no stress, just good conversation (and maybe a drink or two).
NashSec subscribes to the CitySec meet-up methodology, which means:
• No professional society
• No membership/dues/cover charge
• No corporate sponsorship/vendor pitches
• No requirement to RSVP
• Meetups are publicly announced and open to all
No sales pitches, please.
References to SOX, PCI, FISMA, or other compliance-related activities will encourage the instigator to buy a round of drinks.
