Urban walk - Germantown/Nashville
Details
Join the Tennessee hiking group on our urban hike through downtown Nashville. I would rate this as moderate (fit beginners welcome). This is 5 miles with a couple of inclines as we go up the capitol steps and bridges over the river. We will park at the free parking lot between the Tennessee State Museum and the Nashville Farmer’s Market. We walk by bicentennial capitol mall state park, capitol grounds, printer’s alley, Broadway and along the Cumberland River. Come out and meet up with old friends or meet new friends. If you are just passing through, come out to see the area and learn a few interesting facts about Nashville. Bring a light source (flashlight or headlamp) for your safety and hydration of choice. Always brings your ID since we randomly pop in to places to check them out.
