The Last Waltz (1978) at the Belcourt Theater !!

Martin Scorsese films "The Band's" legendary final performance at the Winterland Ballroom in San Fransisco on Thanksgiving Day (1976). Special guests included Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Neil Diamond, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, THE Staple Singers, Ringo Starr, Muddy Waters, and Neil Young.

I am very excited to see this.. I listen to tracks from this show on a regular basis. My favorite has to be "The Weight" with "THE Staple Singers"... I can feel the emotion emanating from that hall. It's a wonderful end to a wonderful era.

Tickets can be bought on the Belcourt website; parking is included with purchase. We will meet in the lobby 15 minutes prior to showtime.
