An Introduction to DeepForge: A Modern IDE for Deep Learning

Details

Join us on Tuesday, December 6th, for an introduction to DeepForge, an open-source development environment for deep learning. DeepForge provides a visual interface for designing neural network architectures and training pipelines. After designing the training/testing pipelines, it allows users to distribute the training over a cluster while receiving real time feedback in the browser. For more advanced uses, DeepForge facilitates defining custom pipeline operations and neural network layers. DeepForge also provides a number of additional features including automatic version control and real time collaborative editing.

About the speakers:

Jimmy Whitaker, Software Engineer at Digital Reasoning, recently finished his Master's in Computer Science at the University of Oxford. He is now working on applying Deep Learning approaches to computer vision at Digital Reasoning.

Brian Broll, Engineering Contractor at Digital Reasoning,is a Ph.D student at Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Vanderbilt University, and a Research Assistant with the Institute for Software Integrated Systems at Vanderbilt. He holds a B.Sc. in mathematics from Buena Vista University and has research interests in model integrated computing, machine learning and visual programming environments.
