What we’re about

Hosted by our nonprofit, the Center for Sustainable Stewardship (CSSfamily.org), we welcome all who enjoy singing, performing or listening to sacred, meditative and global music. We also encourage folks who just want to come and listen -- be reflective, meditate or pray during the performances. Often led by Massood Taj, Tony Gerber, Robin Barnes and Dina Capitani among other musicians, we enjoy an open-stage format that encourages meaningful, respectful musical integrations with our music leaders.

Weekly, we won't know which musicians are in town and will drop by to give us world-class performances.  We also enjoy a potluck, offered after performances at 1pm. Go to cssfamily.org/sacred-moments/ to hear past performances and learn more.

The setting is inside CSS' retreat center next to a beautiful rustic lake between Franklin and Fairview. All (families with adults and children) will be welcome as we promote our nonprofit, nature preserve and organic farm--only ten minutes from downtown Franklin.

We ask if you enjoy yourself, and come back, to then become a member of our nonprofit!  Join our nature preserve as a member and support the sustaining and protection of 300 acres with a six-acre lake. Benefits include: becoming a part of the solution of sustainability through support of clean air and clean water initiatives. Members also enjoy retreat day passes, allowing them access to canoeing, hiking and taking home some of our organic farm's harvest. See CSSfamily.org for more details on membership.
