We're thrilled to have you join us in our exciting community of trivia buffs, board game enthusiasts, bar crawl adventurers, live music fans, karaoke stars, outdoor adventurers, and festival-goers. Whether you're here to challenge your knowledge, make new friends over a board game, explore the best bars in town, hike all the best trails, or dance the night away at a concert or festival, there's something for everyone. Welcome to the Nashville Nerd Herd!
We are an inclusive group and aim to foster a positive environment to foster friendship for all. The majority of events will be free and there are no dues to be a member. Events with a fee due to equipment/venue costs (such as kayak rental, for example) will be indicated as such.
Attendance Policy
We appreciate your interest in our events and want everyone to have the opportunity to participate. To ensure a great experience for all, we have established the following attendance policy:
- Attending without RSVP: Meetup has an established RSVP system that includes Going, Not Going, and Waitlist. For safety reasons as well as to avoid overcrowding, please ensure that you are only attending events where you are marked as "Going." Attendance without an appropriate RSVP may be cause for removal from the group.
- No Shows: If you miss three events without prior notice, you may be removed from the group.
- Same-Day Cancellations: Canceling on the day of the event without notifying the group will be considered a no-show. Please comment on the event page or let an organizer know if you cannot make it.
- Advance Notice: If you think you won’t be able to attend, please take the time to edit your RSVP the day before the event. This helps us make room for others who are eager to join.

Join the Nerd Herd for a fun, kid-free evening in the trees at the Adventure Park at Nashville! This Adults Only Night is your chance to challenge yourself on high ropes courses and zip lines — no kids, just good vibes and grown-up energy.
📅 Date: Friday, July 25th
🕖 Time: 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM
📍 Location: The Adventure Park at Nashville
💵 Cost: $43 (includes all climbing gear)What to Expect:
- Access to a variety of treetop trails — beginner to advanced
- Ziplining and climbing under the stars with glow lighting
- Music to keep the energy up while you climb
- A great way to meet fellow adventurous adults and try something new
- Non-climbing visitors are welcome and do not need a ticket
