Welcome to the Nerd Herd Quiet Reading Club!

This club is a laidback way to get some recreational reading done in the middle of a busy week, meet fellow readers, and support local businesses.

Unlike traditional book clubs, there’s no assigned reading. Bring whatever book you want to read at the meeting. This can be a physical book, e-reader, or even a graphic novel or comic.

Here’s a rough schedule for our 1st meeting:
6:00-6:30 – Check in, order food and drink, share what you’ve been reading
6:30-7:30-Silent reading hour
7:30-8:00-Optional chat about what you’ve read, read more, or leave if you need to

The location for our 1st meeting will be one of my favorite dive bars in Nashville, Rosie’s Twin Kegs.

• PARKING: There is a lot by and beside the bar as well as ample street parking.
• FOOD: Rosie’s has great bar food like burgers, wings, and the best tater tots in towns.
• NON—ALCOHOLIC OPTIONS: NA beer, THC drinks, soda.
