Check out some local indie rock bands for free at Skinny Dennis!

RockNite is a free monthly local music event at East Nashville venue Skinny Dennis that showcases up and coming indie and alternative bands.

The music starts at 8, but I'll be there at 7:45 settling in with a Willie's Frozen Coffee. It's a three band bill so no sweat if you show up a little bit later.

The lineup is curated by blues guitar virtuoso **Grace Bowers. (**She played with Chris Martin during the 2025 Grammys "In Memoriam" sequence.)

The three bands playing are The Criticals (Pop rock with a vintage aesthetic), Lombardy (Fuzzy, buzzy grunge-meets-dad rock), and Bad Bad Luck ("Slutty gay garage rock" aka I'm really looking forward to them).

  • PARKING: There's lots of street parking off Gallatin Avenue, including the nearby Hope Church, which has a big free parking lot.
  • FOOD: You can get food at Skinny Dennis' on-site BBQ food truck, Sully's Smoke Shack.
  • NON—ALCOHOLIC OPTIONS: NA beer, THC drinks, soda, mocktails

If you have any questions about the event, feel free to comment on the page or PM me.
