Burgess Falls - Cumberland Kayak

Ready to trade the noise of Nashville for one of Tennessee’s most spectacular waterfall adventures? Join us for a guided kayak trip to the base of Burgess Falls! This scenic paddle across Center Hill Lake is perfect for both first-time kayakers and experienced paddlers looking to spend a day on the water.

We’ll meet directly at Cumberland Kayak Adventure before the tour begins (carpooling from Nashville is encouraged if you’d like). After a brief orientation, we’ll paddle about an hour to the base of Burgess Falls, where we’ll have time to relax, take photos, swim (optional), and enjoy the scenery before making the return trip. The guided experience lasts approximately 3.5 hours, though water levels may affect the total trip time. All kayaks, paddles, life jackets, and guides are included with your reservation.
(Although the tour is guided, if you have your own kayak you can meet at the drop off/pick up location as it is an out and back - this is no cost!)

This event is weather-dependent, and we’ll keep everyone updated if conditions require any changes. Participants should be comfortable around water and able to paddle at an easy, steady pace.

What to Bring:

• Water
• Snacks (before or after the trip)
• Sunscreen
• Hat & sunglasses
• Waterproof bag or dry bag for your phone and valuables
• Water shoes or sandals that can get wet
• Optional: Swimsuit, towel, and a change of clothes
