Sci Fi and Fantasy Fans,

First contact has been a recurrent theme in this group, and for the May Meetup we return to it with Sue Burke's "Semiosis." In this book, the plants are smart - real smart. Semiosis was on the Chicago Review of Books 10 Best of 2018 list and was short-listed for pretty much every major award out there. This is the first book in a trilogy that wrapped up last Fall.
