Cumberland Trail Stinging Fork Falls Section

Details
Let’s cross another section of the CT off the list! We’ll meet at the Stinging Forks Falls State Natural Area at 10 am, then hike north along the Stinging Forks Trail for ~ 4.5 miles to a campsite alongside the river. After setting up camp, we’ll hike ~ 0.6 miles to Stinging Forks Falls, then back to camp for relaxation and dinner. Sunday morning we hike out southbound to the parking area.
*Parking may be limited so carpooling is recommended if possible. This hike is rated moderate with ~ 850 feet of elevation change. The trail is rocky and may be muddy in spots; if you RSVP you accept responsibility for your safety and acknowledge that you are prepared for any challenges. Since we have limited space available for this trip, no guests are allowed (if there are spots open the week of the trip, please contact me directly if you want to bring a guest). Dogs are welcome on leash. Please RSVP with respect for others who may want to go.
