Red River Gorge Two Night Backpack

Details
NOTE: RRG is in the Eastern time zone; we will meet at the Swift Camp Creek trailhead at noon central time/1 pm eastern. All vehicles must have an overnight parking permit displayed in the windshield, which you can only pick up locally ($7 for 2-3 nights). I will share details with attendees in the days leading up to the trip.
We will meet at the Swift Camp Creek trailhead no later than 1 pm eastern and hit the trail.
We will be trekking a series of trails to create a loop and see as many features as possible: Swift Camp Creek Trail, ~ 7 miles in length; Rock Bridge Trail, 1.5 miles; Wildcat Trail, 1.5 miles; and an unnamed trail to Mossy Falls and Lower Mossy Falls (approximately 1 mile out and back from the Wildcat Trail), and a connector trail back to our original trailhead.
Total length of planned route is ~ 15 miles with 2,900 feet of elevation gain.
No campsite reservations are required, so we have flexibility on where we choose to setup. Water sources are plentiful; plan on treating or filtering.
Please RSVP with integrity, and message me here or text me at 804.399.2483. If I haven’t heard from you by October 4, your RSVP will be changed to not attending.
