Backpacking is a fun, rewarding hobby. It can also be a challenging experience when things don't quite go as planned. Come join us in October to hear awared-winning (probably) backpacker Rebecca "Firestarter" Rowland share some of her experiences with us, as only she can. Her presentation, Backpacking: A Comedy of Errors and a Few Good Tips, is a whirlwind journey through the do's and don't's of backpacking, based on her eperiences. You'll laugh. You'll cry. It's better than CATS.

Rebecca has been a member and organizer for Nashville Backpacker Meetup since 2012. She is also an organizer with the You Are A Badass Lady! meetup group, has thru-hiked the Appalachain and Pinhoti Trails, is an outspoken advocate for the empowerment of others, and a whole host of other cool stuff. You are sure to be regaled, entertained, encouraged, and educated by her tales of woe on the trail.
