Overnight Backpack: Long Hunter State Park

The weather forecast looks fantastic, so let's do a fairly easy overnight backpacking trip to Long Hunter State Park. We'll meet at the trailhead at 12:00 p.m. cst on Saturday and hike in 6 relatively flat miles and pitch camp at one of the backcountry sites on Percy Priest Lake. We'll hike out the same route on Sunday back to our vehicles.

This trip is suitable for backpackers of all skill levels. However, this will be a "go at your own pace" hike, so come prepared with a map and the ability to navigate yourself to the campsite (very easy to follow trail). If I haven't hiked with you previously, please send me a Meetup message with your phone number when you rsvp for this trip. If I don't receive your contact info when you sign up, your spot will go to the next person on the wait list.
